I'm sick of hearing about the politician's running for President. I'm sick of Walmart. I'm sick of exercising. I'm sick of Parkinson's. I'm sick of the Russia, China, The Middle East, Greece, Italy, France, and Spain. I'm sick of Cannabis not being legal. I'm sick religion! I'm sick of Whale killings! I'm sick of not being able to type. I'm sick of not being able to go sailing by myself anymore. I'm sick of my service dog. I'm sick of being retired. I'm sick of being tired. I'm really sick of Dysautonomia, AND I'm really really sick of Global Warming!
As a matter of fact....
I'd like to chain myself to an ice berg in an effort to be one of the first, if not the first, "Ice Berg Hugger." I know this will end up as a futile (Icebergs melt Blondy) attempt that will no doubt be missed by all the networks, and I'm sure to be defeated in that while making the jolly good effort of holding onto my dwindling patch of now slowly melting, pure innocence, and frozen goodness, my little "manly outboard" would most definitely suffer a "wet freeze", not unlike the "trench foot" identified in WWI.
However the more terrible thing would be that from the moment I chained myself to the ice berg... I would constantly "dream fly" to Hawaii. Warm myself in the Tropical heat, just enough to re-appreciate my air conditioned hotel, as I eat Chilean Sea Bass, King Crab Legs, and Veal Cutlets...
I'm just so sick of everything.... today...

Latest Peace Pipe, Made for Kelsi
It has been a while since I last wrote to my blog. Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll post more regularly.
Here are a few pictures of the latest pipe that I fabricated over the past two weeks. It is had made out of old growth cedar (stem), old growth maple (bowl), leather swatch and strips, turkey and sea gull feathers, metal thread. When I make a pipe, I meditate while creating the item in an attempt to instill a purpose, an intention, in order to direct or aim the mind toward a particular need.
As my daughter Kelsi leaves for Japan, I wanted her to have a something special that she could have and display, if she wishes, in her apartment that could help her "return home" if she needed to.
The pipe doesn't doesn't need to be smoked in order for it to be affective. The bowl and the stem are kept apart when not in use. The bowl or female energy is paired with the stem or male energy when the pipe is used in a ceremony invoking the four directions of the compass, downward for Mother Earth, upward for the Great Spirit, and finally with open arms invoking every one, including the pipe holder, physically present on earth and in Spirit.
The pipe contents, usually Mishma and Tobacco, when lit, inhaled, and exhaled is representative of the actual prayer and how it rises to the heavens, Spirit, and all those invited energies that are needed and used to help the user through the particular need or request.
The pipe doesn't need to be smoked in order for it to be useful. The pipe can be a vehicle for prayer or meditation if held when the bowl and stem are mated.
Enjoy the pictures. Feel free to email me at rogercampy@gmail.com. Peace to you!
