Casey Anthony has spent almost 3 years in jail, and has to live the rest of her life with what she may have done. Either way, no verdict will never bring back any kid, and that's just a shame.
On the other hand, those of us who were emotionally glued to this case on TV should also realize that the jury, as selected by both the prosecution and the defense teams, listened to everything that happened in the court room for the duration of the trial. Their decision was based on facts as presented by legal representation following accepted lawful processes, not third hand sensationalized media revelations.
Quite frankly, I could give two farts about this slanted entertainment based media crap.
This "lady" sounds like she was an immature, resentful, loser at one time. She has already lost much of her life, her humility, and most importantly her integrity and at such a young age.
As Civilized American's, let's not turn to the eye for an eye, or beheading, or torture like Islam's "Code of Hammurabi". I believe we should each spend more time actually doing something about what pisses us off, rather than getting more pissed off by watching it on television!!!

Time to dust off the Blog...
Well it has been over a month since I've posted anything. Been in kind of a minor mental slump. My old PC's have been on the fritz and my mind hasn't wanted to Blog. And that's the short and long truth of it.
Since I'm dusting off and cleaning out, I figured I'd let you know what I've been up to...
Been prepping the boat for the July cruise with my brother Ron and I. Our sister Suzanne is still wrapped up with work other obligations and is trying iron out a plan for the trip. Michele, our other sister, started a wonderful new job and is kind of stuck to her obligations, so she's kind of out of the picture for this year.
Slowly working on the yard. Slow start this year with all the plants I planted earlier this year. Cold weather and a couple of frosts really put the ugly on most of them. Will be planting more later this month, if time permits.
Looking forward to helping a friend butcher three cows tomorrow. Should be a real experience for me.
Got back from a road trip with my daughter Kelsi. We drove down to LA, where she's doing a three week internship at a reality TV production company. She was very excited to begin, and after two days she is very very happy. It was also very cool to see my sisters, Suzanne and Dana. They so ROCK!
Flying back to LA on the 25th to pick up Kelsi. We are going to drive back home via the Pacific Coast Highway... at least for as long as the gas money holds out. $4.50 a gallon in California sucked! It would have been nice to have a hybrid car on that trip. Chief did really well on the trip.
Had my Parkinson's medications tweaked by a new doctor last month. Spent a week trying to equalize on the new brain chemistry dosages. Same medications, different dosing.
The Social Security Disability application process was a breeze! Took just shy of a year to get the whole process done. It really helped to have legal representation from a Disability Law Group. My insurance company hired "The Advocator Group" out of Massachusetts.
Still sitting on the VA disability thing. Been over a year now. I understand all the Agent Orange and current active duty Vets returning have priority, and there are a lot of them. Waiting patiently...
Chief got all his second year immunizations yesterday. Man, he was wicked beat for the rest of the day.
Got to get cracking on organizing my desk and my shop. Both are a pathetic mess! Needs organization wicked bad. Looks like a trip to IKEA is in order to purchase a desk that will be long and wide enough to put all my indoor hobby crap, mostly PC junk, paper work, and the next "new" hobby which is always around the attention span corner.
Will be taking a sailing trip this weekend with Susan aboard "Windsocket". Don't know where we'll be going but most probably we'll end up where the wind pushed us.
Chief and I will be taking another week long sailing trip to Victoria, BC in about 2 weeks with my Gig Harbor homies. Should be a real good time. Will get loads of pictures, some movies, and no doubt a new set of lies.
Finally started working on my book. Got a rough outline and a decent opening so far. Lets see how long I can keep the ideas flowing.
I hope to get some fishing in this year and start working on my HAM radio license, as time and money permits.

Good News Bad News Chronicles
Bad News:
Yesterday, Washington State Governor Christine Gregoire vetoed most of the Bill that would update the current Washington State Medical Marijuana Law passed in 1998 that legalized medical marijuana for certain people. The update to the law passed the Washington State legislature and would protect certified medical marijuana users and allow medical marijuana dispensaries.
Good News:
Governor Gregoire did allow other parts of the Bill to become law. Up to 10 patients can pool together to grow a collective marijuana gardens containing up to 45 plants that yield up to 72 ounces of pot. She also said that she would work with other state governors to downgrade marijuana to a legal category that would allow it to be prescribed by doctors and obtained at pharmacies.
Campy's Comments:
This is good news and bad news, however even if "pot" is downgraded to a legal category allowing it to be prescribed by doctors and obtained at pharmacies, who is going to grow it and who is to set and certify the quality standards to be "medicinal grade." For instance, I'd worry about who grows it, if any fertilizers are used, if any other chemicals being used, and do the growers let their dog or cat enter the "grow" area? Imagine vaporizing or ingesting animal urine or poison. Man... how things change!
